China's Big Three Telecom Operators Integrate DeepSeek
DeepSeek, the cutting-edge Chinese open-source AI model, has rapidly gained attention for its powerful deep learning capabilities and broad application potential. China’s three major telecom operators—China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom—have announced comprehensive integration of DeepSeek. They will leverage their platforms and resources to enable widespread application across various products and industries, contributing significantly to the inclusive development of AI technology.
China Telecom’s Tianyi Cloud has completed the optimization of the DeepSeek-R1/V3 model series, becoming the first domestic operator to achieve full-stack domestic AI inference services. This advancement signifies a major leap forward in China’s AI ecosystem, offering high-performance, secure, and controllable intelligent computing power. The Tianyi Cloud platform has completed flexible model deployment ranging from full strength to lightweight versions, and integration of heterogeneous computing power for resource optimization.
China Mobile’s cloud services have fully integrated DeepSeek, supporting all versions from DeepSeek V1 to V3, and including both full and distilled models. The integration offers a seamless AI experience, with the platform providing flexible deployment options for a wide range of business scenarios. Mobile AI cloud services are also set for a significant upgrade, including enhanced AI assistant functions powered by DeepSeek.
China Unicom’s cloud computing platform Starlink has adapted the DeepSeek-R1 model across multiple specifications, providing efficient and stable AI support in over 270 cloud nodes across China. With a focus on data privacy and security, the company's integration ensures agile AI application delivery across industries.
