During New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins’s visit to China in June, China and New Zealand signed a five-year pact on cooperation in science and technology.

The Arrangement on a Five-Year Roadmap for China-New Zealand Science and Technology Cooperation 2023-2027 was signed in Beijing on June 28 by the Chinese Minister of Science and Technology Wang Zhigang and New Zealand Ambassador to China Grahame Morton.
